Diplomatic Bazaar for Charity

On Saturday, April 26th, the Twenty-First Charity Bazaar is being held for the year 2014 at Madrid’s Palacio Municipal de Congresos.

For yet another year, the International Diplomats’ Association in Spain is organizing its Diplomatic Bazaar for Charity, which will be held from 12:30-8:00 p.m. at Madrid’s Palacio Municipal de Congresos (address: Avda. Capital de España, 7. Metro: Line 8 - Campo de las Naciones).

This charity event will be officially opened by Queen Sofía of Spain. Attending the event will be exhibitors from more than 50 foreign countries, from each of which those attending can acquire crafts and gourmet foods from different countries at nominal prices.

Also for one year more, a raffle will be held to give out more than 600 valuable gifts offered by the foreign embassies accredited in Spain.

The funds raised through sales at the stands and in the raffle will be donated to the Queen Sofía Foundation, which is purchasing mini-buses for a school for children with special needs this year.

The Bazaar is open to the general public. Tickets can be purchased directly at the event and cost 3 euros per person.
