Director General of Casa Árabe meets with Qatar’s Minister of Culture and Spanish Ambassador

HE Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, met  on Tuesday with Spanish ambassador to Qatar HE Ms. Carmen de la Peña to discuss bilateral cultural relations and means of bolstering them.

They also discussed mechanisms of cooperation between the ministry of culture and Casa Árabe in Madrid in the presence of Eduardo López Busquets, the Director-General of Casa Árabe in Spain.

HE Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari later met with a delegation representing the Arab-German friendship society and discussed means of widening scopes of cooperation between the two countries.


Casa Árabe was founded in July 2006 by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the municipalities of Madrid and Cordoba, to be a reference for everything related to the Arab world in Spain and strengthening Spain's relations with the Arab and Muslim world in the cultural, social, scientific and economic areas.
