Ecology in Al-Andalus from past to present

The yearly meeting of the Spanish-Arabic Intercultural Circle, now holding its eighth edition, will focus on this issue. It will be taking place at the Casa Árabe headquarters in Madrid on June 24.

The experts in ecology taking part in the meeting will provide an overview of the topic of ecology and, above all, water conservation, using a few examples from Al-Al-Andalus’ past as a model.

The event is taking place at 6:30 p.m. at Casa Árabe’s Hall of Ambassadors* (at Calle Alcalá, 62, first floor) and will be introduced by Cristina Juarranz, Casa Árabe’s Assistant Director and Coordinator of Programming.

It will be attended by authorities, ambassadors, members of the Arab diplomatic corps in Spain and well-known individuals from the environmental world, along with others from Spanish-Arab professional and socio-cultural fields.

The ceremony will also include the presentation of the CIHAR 2021 Gold Medals.
