MADRID
The countries forming the Gulf Cooperation Council (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain) are in the midst of a transformation. For years now, they have been undergoing reforms to modernize and diversify their economies, as well as achieving greater integration. Together they have created a common market made up of 60 million people, with a gross domestic product exceeding two trillion dollars.

In Spain, the success and development achieved by these six Arab nations has not gone unnoticed. The Year 2021-2022 Action Plan for Internationalization of the Spanish Economy has identified the GCC countries as priority markets for Spain, in terms of both promoting our exports and attracting investment.

Within this context, EsadeGeo is presenting a report titled “Economic and Business Relations Between Spain and the Gulf Cooperation Council,” which analyzes the development, current status and future of Spain’s economic and business relations with the GCC countries, with the goal of becoming a reference among working tools used by institutions and companies to provide a better understanding just what important relationships Spain has formed with these economies.

The event will be held at ESADE Madrid (located at Calle Valle de la Fuenfría, 3) on Monday, March 31, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., in person. In order to attend, you must sign up in advance by clicking on this link.
