Exhibition: “Butterflies of the Soul”
Sufi artist Cristóbal Martín exhibits his works in Madrid

The exhibition, which may be seen at the Ansorena Gallery, presents a series of works dedicated to Dr. Santiago Ramón y Cajal, whose definition of neurons forms the basis for the exhibiton’s name. Some of the pieces on display also make visible one of his discoveries: the nerve synapse.
The recent work being presented at the Ansorena Gallery is a continuation of Martín’s research into the Symbolism of the Plant and Animal Kingdom, and an approach to the Microscopic World, through Dr. Santiago Ramón y Cajal and his studies of neurons. Also being presented at this exhibition are pieces from his latest collection on “Gene” forms: generic, essential forms present in all forms of expression.
The official opening will be taking place on Thursday, November 6 at 8:00 p.m. The exhibition will remain open until December 5.
