Fifth University Debate Tournament of Cordoba 

On October 19, Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Cordoba will be hosting the Fifth Internal Tournament held by the debate association Dilema.

At this tournament, different teams will be competing in a debate over different subjects, designed to promote learning. The initiative will include the participation of debate teams from all over Spain.

The Dilema debate association is a group created to promote oratory and communication at the university, getting the university and its faculty involved at both an institutional and administrative level.

In addition to Casa Árabe, taking part in and actively collaborating with the initiative are institutions such as the University of Cordoba, as mentioned above, the Oratory and Communication Debate Group (Aula de Oratoria y Comunicación), the Unesco Professorship, the Municipal Government of Cordoba, the Autonomous Regional Government of Andalusia, Cordoba’s House of Youth (Casa de la Juventud) and Europe Direct (a European commission whose purpose is to bring European institutions closer to regular, everyday people, with the main goal of promoting European culture).
