Finalist videos of "What is out there?" in Casa Árabe

On Monday October 15th, Casa Árabe screened the eleven finalist videos of the competition "What is out there?" After the screening the jury decided who had won the contest. The screening took place at Casa Árabe’s Auditorium in Madrid (c/Alcalá, 62) from 16.00 to 18.00.

These videos were the works of youngsters and associations from Saudi Arabia, Australia, Bangladesh, Egypt, Spain, Indonesia, Nepal and Pakistan. They showed -in a creative and fast way (maximum 3 minutes) - innovative projects developed with the economic support of alternative ways of financing, that is, they were funded by alternative, ethical or Islamic funds.
The prize-awarding ceremony of this competition was organized by the Saudi-Spanish Centre for Islamic Economics and Finance (SCIEF), created by the IE Business School, the King Abdulaziz University (Saudi Arabia) and the University Paris I-Sorbonne. It took place at the IE (Aula Magna, c/ Maria de Molina 11/13) at 19.00, during the closing event of the Social Impact Finance Forum, organized by the SCIEF and which also counted with the participation of Casa Árabe.
