With the title “Screens and Streams,” every week the institution will be offering a wide-ranging set of films and music which allow you to explore the different trends and languages used by contemporary Arab creators and composers.

Over the last ten years, AFAC has supported the work of independent Arab film directors through fellowships and the AFAC Film Week. Given the current circumstances, the institution is starting up this online initiative in order to continue offering the finest contemporary Arab films (and music) to the public.

Those films which are selected each week are independent productions that were made from 2011 through 2016 and will remain freely available online for seven days (in Arabic with subtitles in English).

The first offering was launched during the week of April 2 to 8. The second week lasted from April 9 to 15. On April 16, a new selection will be made known to the public. You won’t want to miss it.
