Gender and leadership in the academic world 

From July 8 to 10, the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid will be hosting the third international conference on gender studies (ICGS2025). The event will be taking place within the framework of the WE4LEAD project.

The main goal of this third edition of the International Conference on Gender Studies is to foster global dialogue on persistent gender inequalities in the realm leadership within academic institutions and to explore specific strategies to promote gender-inclusive leadership. 

The conference seeks to create a collaborative platform in which scholars, educators, practitioners and policy-makers can exchange ideas, share best practices and identify solutions that address systemic barriers to leadership by women.
