Homage to Casa Árabe by the Council of Arab Ambassadors
To mark the celebration of the seventy-ninth anniversary of the Arab League and World Arabic Language Day, on Thursday, May 9, an event will be held in Madrid to pay tribute to Casa Árabe and to academic and writer Ada Romero Sánchez.

This will be followed by a tribute to Casa Árabe, with a speech by the institution’s General Director, Irene Lozano. This will be followed by a tribute and speech by Ada Romero Sánchez, a Spanish scholar and writer who researches the history of Al-Andalus.
The meeting will end with a reception in honor of the guests. Attendance to the event is by invitation only.
