Intercultural Spanish-Arabic Festival in Cordoba 

On September 19 and 20, the Spanish-Arab Cultural Circle (CIHAR) is organizing this festival at Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Cordoba. It will include conferences, book presentations, talks, workshops, music and a dramatized tour of the Casa Mudéjar. We hope to see you there! 

This vibrant festival celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Spain and the Arab world while promoting diversity, inclusiveness and mutual understanding through art, music and gourmet cuisine.

The event will be taking place on the dates of September 19 and 20 at the Casa Árabe headquarters in Cordoba (at Calle Samuel de los Santos Gener, 9), from 11:00 a.m. to at 8:30 p.m., with free entry until the event’s capacity is reached.

Among the proposals are talks on literature and music, conferences on botany and medicine, calligraphy workshops, and more. The book “La bibliomula de Córdoba” will also be presented.

Those attending may also take part in a dramatized tour of the Casa Mudéjar, Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Cordoba, given by Sexto Mario.

During the second day, in addition to the conferences, a poetry recital will be taking place. The session will end with a string concert including a performance by Eles Bellido (violin) and Jesús Miquel Villaba (French horn).
