Islamophobia, a new app to fight hate crimes

This completely free tool makes it possible not only to report the cases of Islamophobia individuals experience personally, but also for other people to report any cases that they witness.

Throughout the entire process, the person who files the report will be assisted by a team of specialists, and therefore their identity and the information they provide will be keep fully anonymous and confidential. Thanks to this tool, the Internet can become not only a space for cyber-hate (where 46% of such attacks take place), but also a place which provides an opportunity to fight this problem.

The Islamophobia app is one of the many actions forming part of the National Program for the Prevention of Islamophobia, coordinated by the Moroccan Association for Immigrant Integration, co-financed by the Fund for Asylum, Migration and Integration (FAMI), as part of a tender by the Directorate General of Migrations of the Spanish Ministry of Employment and Social Security and the Department of Equality and Social Policies of the Autonomous Regional Government of Andalusia, held within IRPF 2018.
