The Alhambra: history, art and heritage  

This online university course, for which you may now sign up, begins in April

The University of Granada (through its Virtual Education Center, CEIBioTic Granada) and the Alhambra School of the Alhambra and Generalife Board of Trustees (Autonomous Regional Government of Andalusia) have organized this open online university course, free of charge, which provides academic credits and is offered in in English and Spanish.

The objective of this course is to facilitate fast, simple information of high quality on the Alhambra in Granada, offering contents with the greatest scientific rigor and the educational level required in university studies.

It was prepared by acknowledged specialists at the Alhambra and by the technical staff at the site itself, who analyze the history, construction processes, aesthetic values and strategies for preservation of such an emblematic architectural ensemble, which is a World Heritage Site.
