MA encounters of the Islamicate World

For the second year in a row, Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Cordoba is hosting this gathering on the dates of September 10 to 15, with the cooperation of the Freie Universität.

With the cooperation of the Freie Universität Berlin and as part of it Master’s degree program “Intellectual Encounters of the Islamicate World,” Casa Árabe is hosting this gathering at its headquarters in Cordoba from September 10 to 15. The event, which forms part of a yearly series of distance learning courses given by the Freie Universität Berlin, will provide a thorough overview of the intellectual and multicultural legacy of the medieval Islamic world and the many profound connections that existed between Christians, Jews and Muslims in the era.

The training program, which will include social events in Cordoba and Seville, also intends to strengthen the academic ties among participants through this live event.

A group of international students has been selected for the program from Palestine, Israel, Iran, Turkey ,Egypt, Germany, etc.

The sessions are private and not open to the public.
