Meeting with Members of Tunisia’s Assembly of Representatives
On October 17, Casa Árabe hosted a meeting by these representatives with
Eva Martínez, the Director General for the Maghreb, Mediterranean and
Near East of Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

The General Director of Casa Árabe Pedro Martínez-Avial, informed these members of parliament about the activities and objectives sought by Casa Árabe and expressed how important Tunisia’s example is to the region and the Arab world as a whole, due to its efforts to keep in place a democratic state and the major legal advancements it is achieving in the field of women’s equality.
