Casa Árabe’s General Director, Miguel Moro Aguilar, welcomed Pablo López Gil, the Director General of the Forum of Renowned Spanish Brands (FMRE), to Madrid for a meeting.

At the meeting, held at Casa Árabe headquarters on May 6, they explored the potential for cooperation between the two institutions in order to promote the image and international presence of Spanish companies in Arab countries. 

The Forum of Renowned Spanish Brands (FMRE) is an organization that brings together leading Spanish brands. Its mission is the promotion at all levels of the strategic importance of brands, innovation and design and to promote the internationalization of businesses as a key driver for improving the Spanish economy’s competitiveness, thereby contributing to the promotion of Spain’s image and that of all its companies through a joint effort between leading Spanish brands and public authorities. Founded in 1999, it has more than 150 members, with a combined turnover figure equivalent to 30.1% of Spain’s GDP. FMRE members employ 1.3 million people, with an average of 53.8% of their business coming from international markets, and they have a presence in 76 countries.
