Meeting with the directors of the journal “Hesperia: Cultures of the Mediterranean” 

Casa Árabe’s Director General, Miguel Moro Aguilar, welcomed José Luis Pardo, President of the Board of Trustees, and Ahmed Kaddour, director of the publication, to Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Madrid. 

During their meeting, they discussed the potential forms of collaboration for the future of this journal. 

Published since 2005, the journal “Hesperia: Culturas del Mediterráneo” has been an ambitious cultural project put out with the purpose of offering a space for analysis, reflection and, especially, discovery of the different cultures that coexist throughout the Mediterranean, countries and cultures which are neighbors but often largely unknown to each other. 

The journal is published with an informative spirit, but with an academic focus and scientific rigor in accordance with the most current knowledge, ways of thinking and research related to the Humanities and Social Sciences. The journal is intended for a general public interested in these issues, as well as at educators, diplomats, scholars, researchers and experts in these fields.
