Meeting with the Foundation for Social Promotion (FPS) 

The president of the foundation, Jumana Trad, and its general director, María Beamonte, were welcomed by Casa Árabe’s General Director, Miguel Moro Aguilar. 

At the meeting, held at Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Madrid on Tuesday, July 1, the directors of FPS presented their institution and the work they do, and together with the director of Casa Árabe explored ways to continue collaborating on topics in their common interest. 

The Fundación Promoción Social (“Social Promotion Foundation”) is a private, non-profit institution that works to further human development in accordance with human dignity. It brings its founding objectives closer to the diversity of the countries in which it operates and to the priorities and proposals sought by local organizations, always placing people at the center of its activities.

Founded in 1987, its first Founding Board of Trustees was made up of individuals from the worlds of education and business, who sought, in line with the institution’s main purpose, to work for people and disadvantaged groups in Spain and other countries.
