Meeting with the Head of Museums and Exhibitions at the IMA 

Mario Choueiry, head of the Museums and Exhibitions Department at the Institut du Monde Arabe (IMA) at its Paris and Tourcoing headquarters, visited Casa Árabe in Madrid, where he met with our General Director, Miguel Moro Aguilar.

During the meeting, held on Friday, May 22, Choueiry proposed several art projects upon which both institutions could cooperate to prepare for their year 2027 activity schedules. In this regard, ideas were discussed regarding Lebanese talent in the field of photography. 
 
The Institut du Monde Arabe is a multidisciplinary cultural center opened in 1987. It works to strengthen ties between cultures while fostering dialogue between the Arab world, France and Europe. It is a private foundation supported by funding from the French government, with occasional support from Arab League countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar. It is chaired by French diplomat Anne-ClaireLegendre and its Director General is Iraqi diplomat, poet, translator and editor Chawki Abdelamir.
