Nesma Music visits Casa Árabe    

Dancer and choreographer Nesma and Eric Godfroid, director of the artistic production company Nesma Music, met with Casa Árabe’s General Director, Miguel Moro Aguilar. The meeting took place in Madrid on Friday, May 22. 

Along with the General Director of Casa Árabe, Nesma and Godfroid discussed the dance and music projects that the company is currently working on, and they took a look back at others on which they have collaborated in the past, in both Madrid and Cordoba. 
 
Similarly, the two organizations explored the potential for executing joint projects within the framework of the “Country Focus: Egypt” program that Casa Árabe will be organizing during the second half of 2026. 
 
Nesma Music is an independent music and dance production and distribution company that works primarily on Arabic music, belly dancing and dance from Al-Andalus, though it is also expanding its activities to include other genres like jazz and flamenco music. Created in Madrid in 2004, the company performs much of its work internationally, collaborating with a large number of well-known artists, especially in Egypt. Through these projects, they seek to promote and raise awareness about the rich Arab musical tradition worldwide while highlighting the major potential it offers for integration with other forms of music and cultures and also supporting their artists’ career development.
