Pre-premiere of the concert Algarabía during the “Intercultural Days”

These events will be held at the Cordoba Penitentiary

Casa Árabe is taking part  in the “Intercultural Days” at the Penitentiary Center of Cordoba, with the pre-premiere on Friday, June 20, of the concert Algarabía, by students from the Arab-Flamenco Music School of Casa Árabe.

The Technical Team of the Integrated Educational Program for Intervention with Foreign Inmates has worked on different cultural/educational units to promote training on and the co-existence of different cultures, nationalities and religions existing at the penitentiary. The “Interculturalism Days,” which are being held from June 16-20, 2014, are an attempt to increase awareness amongst the entire inmate population of the great diversity of cultures which is possible, as well as their values, customs, ways of life, etc., all with the objective of achieving more peaceful and respectful co-existence in terms of diversity.
