Reflections on relations between Tunisia and Spain: age-old ties for a common future

As part of his official visit to Spain, Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, gave this conference at Casa Árabe on Thursday, March 27.

His visit to Spain, which included a meeting with Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, took place on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship, Good Neighborliness and Cooperation signed by the two countries.

As for the intervention at Casa Árabe, it took place within the framework of “Country Focus: Tunisia,” which forms part of our institution’s program for the first half of 2025. It will also be including an exhibition, concerts, film screenings and conferences, in addition to other proposed events.

At Casa Árabe, as well, Minister Ali Nafti will be holding a meeting with Spanish businessmen to explore investment possibilities in Tunisia.
