Meeting of Arab Election Authorities in Cordoba
Representatives from Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Sudan and Iraq meet at our headquarters to develop a platform for intra-regional cooperation.
From June 9-11, the representatives of the Election Authorities from Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Sudan and Iraq met at Casa Árabe. The meeting, organized by the Regional Center of the UNDP (United Nations Development Program) in Cairo, was an attempt to strengthen the intra-regional cooperation between the electoral institutions in the Arab world. This meeting was the first step towards the development of a platform for cooperation amongst the different election commissions in the region.
