Saudi parliamentarians visit Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Madrid

On Monday, October 10, a delegation of members of Saudi Arabia’s Consultative Council visited Casa Árabe, where they were received by the Director General, Irene Lozano, to visit the exhibition “Football for Hope.” 

A delegation consisting of nine members of Saudi Arabia’s Consultative Council visited Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Madrid on Monday, October 10, where they were received by its General Director, Irene Lozano. The delegation was accompanied by the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Spain, Azzam Bin Abdulkarim Algain.

During their visit, they also had the opportunity to see the exhibition “Football for Hope,” which is currently being shown as part of the project by the same name through which Casa Árabe is attempting to highlight the power of football as a tool to achieve more inclusive societies.

The visit by the Saudi members of parliament forms part of a working trip to Madrid which they have completed in recent days, allowing them to become familiar with other institutions like Spain’s parliament, the Congreso de los Diputados.
