This edition, which will be taking place in Madrid from December 9 to 12, aims specifically to strengthen the political leadership skills of five emerging African women politicians from Morocco, Angola, Tanzania, Gambia and South Africa, one from each of the five regions on the continent of Africa (North Africa, West Africa, Central Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa).

The objective is to promote their participation in public life and consolidate a network of women leaders committed to political transformation and sustainable development in Africa. During the four-day program, they will be given training from experts recommended by the Women for Africa Foundation, as well as taking part in a full schedule of meetings and visits.

During these meetings and institutional visits on the morning of Thursday, December 11, they visited Casa Árabe, given them an opportunity to learn about the institution and the work it performs. The visit included a meeting with a group of African ambassadors accredited in Spain.

In addition to promoting gender equality and female representation in decision-making spaces, the RAISA Program seeks to create a cooperative environment in which participants can share experiences, identify best practices and design innovative solutions to modern-day challenges. By doing this, RAISA 2025 will be able to contribute to a stronger network of women leaders committed to political transformation and sustainable development in Africa.
