In the workplace, many factors are taken into account when employers evaluate candidates for available jobs. Despite the academic excellence and skill level of many applicants, the causes that can lead to discrimination include those of a religious nature.

This is why the Pluralism and Co-existence Foundation, an entity acting under the Ministry of the Presidency, Relations with Parliament and Democratic Memory, has begun taking a survey in order to analyze situations involving discrimination which may be occurring in the workplace on the basis of religion or beliefs.

The study will be carried out through an analysis of the data which is submitting using the questionnaire. The form consists of 33 questions answered anonymously and confidentially. The responses are then handled as a whole and only for analytical purposes. Besides finding out more about discrimination related to religious freedom, the survey seeks to learn what perception respondents have of discrimination based on other factors, such as gender, being an LGTBIQ+ person and people who suffer from social exclusion, in addition to other characteristics.
