The exhibition “In a Flash, Morocco” comes to Seville

Casa Árabe, with the cooperation of the PHotoESPAÑA Festival, is presenting this exhibition at the Three Cultures Foundation of Seville, as part of its month devoted to Morocco. It can be seen from November 22, 2018 through January 21, 2019

This exhibition, initially presented as part of the tenth edition of the Trasatlantica program of PHotoESAPAÑA, includes works by eight men and women photographers.

After two days of viewing portfolios at L’Uzine in Casablanca, the authors making up this varied display of careers, topics, techniques and modes of production was selected. Young artists who share a non-conformist drive to search and a desire to make their own voices get heard. Despite their diversity of origins and careers, nearly all of them produce a notably informative sort of photography, one with a nearly sociological calling, and they share an obvious interest in conveying certain messages and narratives to viewers who are not necessarily foreign, but perhaps somewhat oblivious to certain realities.

The exhibition has been made possible by cooperation by the Spanish International Development Cooperation Agency (AECID) and the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad.
