During their meeting, held in Madrid on June 19, the two officials reviewed the alliances and forms of cooperation currently existing between Casa Árabe and the Cordoba City Council, as well as exploring ways to strengthen and increase their ties.

In Cordoba, Casa Árabe has its headquarters in the buildings known as the Casa Mudéjar, an emblematic site located within the southern part of the Historical Center of Cordoba, near the Mosque-Cathedral, within the area declared to be a World Heritage Site.

The Casa Mudéjar building is a group of five different houses linked together by galleries, passageways and stairwells, with four courtyards and a turret. The original building dates back to the fourteenth century, though most of the current structures are from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
