Twenty-sixth Symposium of the Spanish Society of Arab Studies

This event is being held from October 4 to 6 at the headquarters of the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation in Seville.

The schedule of events will be held on Friday, October 4, with morning and evening sessions, ending on that date with the screening of the document Venís desde lejos Los árabes olvidados (You Come From Far: The forgotten Arabs), by director Amal Ramsís, and a concert.

On Saturday, October 5, the reading of the communiqués of the candidates for the SEEA Award for Youth Researchers will be held (given by Claudia Gorostizu, Francisco Javier Montoro and Ismael Abderrahman Gil), and these awards will be given out along with the “Literary Translation” and “Calligraphy Pen of Honor” prizes.
