UAM Summer Courses at Casa Árabe

From September 6 to 8, Casa Árabe’s Madrid headquarters hosted a course titled “Geopolitical Matters: Arab world, Spain and the Mediterranean”.

Organized by Casa Árabe and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, under the direction of Professors Ana Isabel Planet (UAM) and Miguel Hernando de Larramendi (University of Castilla-La Mancha), the course brought together more than 45 students and experts on the contemporary Arab world in Spain, who spent three days taking part in intensive debates over the conflicts, transformations and structural reforms being experienced in the region, its society and among youths.
