Visit by the Ambassador of Kuwait
The new ambassador of the State of Kuwait, Zeiad I. Al Anbaie, visited the Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Madrid, where he was received by the institution’s General Director, Miguel Moro Aguilar.

At the meeting, held on May 7, Al Anbaie learned about the work done by Casa Árabe, its mission as a center for public diplomacy and the cultural events it holds. Along with the director of the institution, the two discussed the possibility of launching joint initiatives to raise awareness about the Gulf country.
Bilateral relations between Spain and Kuwait are excellent. Trade between the two countries is characterized by the diversity of Spanish exports, mainly in the machinery and fashion sectors (US$237.62 million in 2024), compared to imports of petrochemical industry derivatives (US$190.16 million in 2024).
