Western Muslims: research and net resources

On Thursday, February 10th, Casa Árabe will present in Madrid its program Western Muslims (MdOcc in its Spanish acronym) and will announce the launching of its website http://mdocc.casaarabe.es. The MdOcc program inaugurates a website, integrated within Casa Árabe’s site, which is an information tool on institutions, legislation, research, publications, education, links, news and on the diverse reality of Muslims and their social participation in Spain and in the Western countries in general.

Along with this site launching by Gema Martín Muñoz, director general of Casa Árabe, a debate on Western Muslims: research and resources, will take place with the participation of Jørgen S. Nielsen, director of the Centre for European Islamic Thought-University of Copenhagen, and Meryem Kanmaz, project and content manager of MANA, Center for Islamic Cultures in Flanders, as speakers.
