“Enta Omri”: An homage to Umm Kulzum 

On Friday May 2 and Saturday May 3, the Middle Eastern dance company Nesma Music will be giving this show In Madrid, as a way to pay homage to the legendary Egyptian singer Umm Kulzum on the fiftieth anniversary of her death.

Through dance and live music, the performance will revive the essence of Tarab, the experience of emotional ecstasy which characterized her art. Her unparalleled voice, her deep mastery of interpretation and her impact on Arab music all made her an immortal icon.

On this exceptional occasion, more than 40 dancers from 16 countries on four continents will be uniting on stage, with accompaniment by live musicians, in a unique celebration of music and dance.

It will be an unforgettable show filled with emotion, beauty and passion.
