As of October 30, Casa Árabe will be displaying this photographic exhibition at its headquarters in Cordoba. It was organized with the cooperation of the Cultural Laboratories of Oman—a joint initiative of Oman’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, and the Bait Al Zubair Foundation. You won’t want to miss it.
The exhibition forms part of the “Country Focus: Oman” program taking place at Casa Árabe during the second half of 2025. The exhibit has brought together approximately thirty photographs by Omani artists Ahmed Al Toqi, Ahmed Al Shukaili, Haitham Al Shanfari, Anas Al Dheeb and Fatma Al Qassabi, who have previously had their works displayed at the Bait Al Zubair Foundation. Amongst this group, Al Toqi stands out as the winner of the 2018 Al Zubair Photography Award in the architecture category.
The works address four themes—history, nature, fortresses, and the contemporary renaissance—and also include some images of Spain, reflecting the diversity of styles and perspectives of their authors.
