April, KSGAAL Arabic Language Month at Casa Árabe

With the cooperation of the King Salman Global Academy of the Arabic Language (KSGAAL, by its initials in English) from Saudi Arabia, Casa Árabe is organizing a whole month of activities to celebrate the Arabic language in Spain, including poetry, calligraphy and storytelling contests in March, ending with a whole week of activities and training programs in April. Sign up now to take part in the competitions.
The initiative forms part of the “Arabic Language Months” being organized by the academy in different parts of the world (as with previous editions in Uzbekistan, Indonesia, China, India, France, Brazil, Thailand and Malaysia), with the objective of promoting and celebrating the richness and diversity of the Arabic language through a series of activities and training programs for teachers and students of Arabic, including tours and meetings with universities and centers of learning to form lines of cooperation and joint projects.
The program in Spain, which is focused on Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Madrid, will include poetry recitals, calligraphy and storytelling competitions in Arabic, as well as an opening day with the awarding of prizes on April 21, as well as free training courses for educators and students during the last week of April. That day of activities and the training courses will be taking place at Casa Árabe’s facilities and will be hosted by qualified trainers from the academy.

- Arabic poetry recitation, calligraphy and storytelling contests for Arabic students. Sign up from March 10 to 31.
- Opening day and awards ceremony. April 21, from ).30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Training Arabic as a foreign language educators (grading and exams). From April 22 through April 25, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Training program for learners about online resources to learn the Arabic language and earn Hamza language certification. April 23, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Its mission includes the development of educational programs, teacher training and the creation of language resources to help facilitate the learning of Arabic worldwide.
