For yet another year, Casa Árabe is contributing to this cultural event, featuring a performance on Wednesday, July 8, by the Cardamom Trio, a group that specializes in the Arabic oud, flute and percussion. On this occasion, they will be accompanied by the melodious voice of Syrian singer Linda Alahmad. Buy your ticket now so you don’t miss out on seeing them.
Cardamom Trio is a space for creating soundscapes inspired by various elements such as the rhythms, modes and instruments from different Eastern cultures. With the cooperation of Linda Alahmad, they are presenting Cuando sale el sol, a musical journey through the careers of its creators, Hames Bitar (Syria) and Kaveh Sarvarian (Iran).
The project brings together Arab and Persian musical roots with new influences stemming from their careers in Spain. Born out of their friendship and shared artistic experiences, the show explores the dialogue between tradition and contemporary creation, blending Middle Eastern soundscapes with new forms of expression. To do so, they will also be relying on the help of percussionist Luis Taberna, who contributed to past projects. He is a specialist in Middle Eastern rhythms.
