Casa Árabe is joining the ninth edition of this celebration, which will take place on September 11 and 12 in Córdoba. For the occasion, the institution will open its doors to visitors with special hours. See the information below.

The ninth edition of Heritage Nights is no longer just an opportunity to visit; it has become a space to experience, listen, explore, dance, discover, and share.

This year’s program will be structured around three major complementary experiences: Heritage Open, Heritage Live, and Heritage Stage—three different and complementary ways to engage with World Heritage.

Abierto Patrimonio offers the opportunity to visit notable heritage sites with special open hours and free admission. As part of this event, Casa Árabe will open the doors of its headquarters at the Casa Mudéjar (c/ Samuel de los Santos Gener,9) from 9:00 p.m. to midnight on Friday, September 11, and Saturday, September 12. Located in the southern part of Córdoba’s Historic District, near the Mosque-Cathedral and within the area designated as a World Heritage Site, the venue features three courtyards that will be open to visitors, who will have the chance to discover the mural by the Italian-Egyptian artist Mosa One, dedicated to contemporary Arabic calligraphy. In addition, visitors can view the photography exhibition “Lo que queda entremedias / What Lies in Between.”

For its part, Vive Patrimonio offers a wide range of cultural activities in the historic district. A cultural program designed for all audiences and ages: concerts, heritage tours, family shows, and much more. A tribute to tangible and intangible heritage and to the richness of our traditions and local talents

Finally, Escena Patrimonio, whose theme for this edition is “Shared Genealogies,” invites visitors to discover how contemporary dance and the performing arts can spark new ways of interpreting, experiencing, and envisioning World Heritage sites. Choreographers, artists, and companies are creating works designed to engage in a dialogue with the architecture, memory, and identity of each city.
