Casa Árabe collaborates with the Citizens’ Agora for Palestinian Culture

On Wednesday, July 15, the institution will be taking part in this initiative by the Ministries of Culture of Spain and Palestine, organized as part of the “International Forum for Palestinian Culture.” See our scheduled program below. 

The International Forum for Palestinian Culture will be held in Madrid from July 14 to 16 and includes a Ministry-level Conference and the Ágora Ciudadana, in which Casa Árabe’s scheduled activities are included. Specifically, these will be:

Round table discussion: “Cultural Cooperation with Palestine”

Tatreez workshop for the whole family: The art of embroidering Palestinian memory and history

SOLD OUT. Discover the richness and variety of Palestinian embroidery (known as “tatreez”) at this workshop run by Spanish-Palestinian artist Maysun Cheikh Ali Mediavilla and Gazan refugee embroiderer Dalia Hammad. It will be taking place in Madrid on July 15, and the whole family is welcome.
