On Friday, October 17, Casa Árabe’s headquarters in Córdoba will be hosting a screening of this film by Elia Suleiman. The film screening is being held within the framework of the Palestinian Film Festival that will be featured in our programming over the coming months. After the screening, there will be a colloquium moderated by Chico Sánchez and Gonzalo Moya. Come join us!
It Must Be Heaven (Elia Suleiman, 2019, 112 minutes, Canada, France, Palestine).
Director Elia Suleiman travels to Paris and New York in search of similarities with his homeland, Palestine. You might also sau that Suleiman is running away from Palestine in search of a new home, only to realize that Palestine seems to be following him, no matter where he happens to go. The promise of a new life soon turns into a comedy filled with twists and turns.
