As part of the Cordoba Guitar Festival, Casa Árabe is organizing this master class on Monday, July 7, to be given by two of the members of the band Sinouj and guitarist Antonia Jiménez, who will also be giving a concert on Sunday, July 6. Sign up now! 

The workshop will be dealing with the joining of flamenco and Arab and Mediterranean roots music. We will be examining rhythmic, modal and melodic commonalities between these musical styles, as well as discussing how to create new material and sounds through these connections and jazz. 

With the participation of flamenco guitarist Antonia Jiménez, saxophone player and composer Pablo Hernández and Tunisian violinist, singer and percussionist Larbi Sassi, who specializes in Arab music and fusion of it with jazz.
