Our Arabic Language Center courses are back this September

IN MADRID AND ONLINE

The time period to sign up for our Language Center’s autumn courses is
ending on September 15. Our course offerings allow you to learn Arabic
in person or online, whether it is for adults or children. Don’t miss
out and sign up now!
The classes will begin on October 3 and end on December 11. For the fall quarter, we are continuing the adult courses we give in Modern Standard Arabic and Arabic dialects (Moroccan Darija, Egyptian and Levantine), conversation classes, in-person classes and remote/online courses (through a live connection with the teacher). We also have classes for children between the ages of 3 and 12, with the option of online courses as of 6 years of age. As a novelty this year, we are also giving in-person classes for adults and children on Sunday mornings.
Schedules
ADULTS
- Mondays and Wednesdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Fridays: 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. (4 hours of class per week)
- Mondays and Wednesdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Fridays: 4:00 p.m., 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. (4 hours of class per week)- Saturdays and Sundays: 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (3 class hours per week).
CHILDREN
- Friday: 5:00 p.m. (3 class hours per week)
- Saturdays and Sundays: 10:00 a.m. (3 class hours)
Fees:
ADULTS (+12 years of age)
General registration for in-person courses: 210 euros
General registration for remote/online courses: 195 euros
Reduced price registration: 180 euros (students, the unemployed, Public Administration employees).
CHILDREN (3-12 years of age)
General registration: 180 euros
Reduced price registration: 156 euros with a discount (children with siblings also registered, large families and the children of active civil servants working for bodies of the Public Administration; no more than one discount may be applied).
You can also purchase textbooks with a 5% discount at Casa Árabe’s Balqis bookstore, where you can purchase online materials, as well.
The remote classes are held via video conference using the Teams platform, with texting, a virtual whiteboard and an online chat. You just need a computer that is hooked up to the Internet. For any group assignments and greater user satisfaction with this tool, we recommend sharing an email address with your classmates, which may be your personal email or an account created specifically for the classes.
You must complete your registration online. All students are given a user name and password to access their private online space, where they can track their registration status, look up student records and carry out other procedures.

Remember to register before all our classes are full!
The groups will be closed when the maximum number of students is reached. Students will be assigned to courses in chronological order as their registration forms are received, and no students will be allowed to register after the deadline.

All Language Center students get discounts on tickets to the Casa Árabe movie screenings and the Balqís Bookstore. If you are already a Language Center student, to avoid having to enter all of your personal information each quarter, you can retrieve your data by typing in the user name and password you used in previous quarters.
