The workshops will be held on the Saturdays indicated below, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Saturday, May 24 – Dabke 1
Theoretical Section:
Introduction and essentials about the dabke (history, symbolism and basic steps).
Choreographic Section:
First Style - Shamaliye. Standard Delaoona steps and 2 variations. Addition of the 6 beats. Wadunos - 2 Variations.
Second Style: Qarradiye. Two steps.
Saturday, May 31 – Dabke 2
Theoretical Section:
The Dabke by Geographical Area. Palestine and the diaspora (Nakba). Types of Dabke Choreographic Section:
