On Friday, June 7, radio lovers will get the chance to attend the recording of a special program as part of the activities in “Casa Árabe’s Thousand and One Nights at the Book Fair.” Come and see it!
During the broadcast, directed by journalist Pilar Sampietro, there will be participation by Casa Árabe’s General Director, Irene Lozano, the Director General of the Madrid Book Fair, Eva Orúe, the manager of Casa Árabe’s Balqís Bookstore, Beatriz M. Ballesteros, and journalist/writer Teresa Aranguren, who authored the books “Palestina, el hilo de la memoria” (“Palestine: The thread of memory”) and “Contra el olvido. Una memoria fotográfica de palestina antes de la Nakba, 1889-1948” (“A Photographic Memoir of Palestine Before the Nakba, 1889-1948,” as well as others. Music will be played by the duo Fetén Fetén, which will be looking back at its past history will offering a short live performance.
