    Football for Hope

    To mark the holding of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the first World Cup to be held in an Arab country, Casa Árabe is organizing an exhibition to highlight football’s power as a tool for achieving inclusive societies. It can be seen from October 6 in Madrid and October 14 in Cordoba.

    As of October 7, Casa África headquarters in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will be hosting this exhibition, the first fully devoted to contemporary art from Mauritania outside of the country’s borders. The show, organized with Casa África, showcases the work of eleven artists from the African nation.

    Over the next few months, the Open Arena, a space where sports activities are held, will be hosting an extension of Casa Árabe’s exhibition in Cordoba on football. It will be open to the public as of October 14.

    This exhibition, curated by Xavier de Luca and Houari Bouchenak, can be visited at our headquarters in Cordoba from 19 October. The project was selected by the jury of the NUR 2021 call for entries, and Casa Árabe took part in that year's edition of PhotoEspaña with it.
