The museum exhibits a collection of Omani archeological items spanning several centuries, and is considered the finest privately owned collection in existence. Its ethnographic pieces reflect the highly specialized inherited knowledge which defines Omani society, both past and present. Exhibits of traditional dress from every province in Oman also showcase the celebration of diversity in Omani culture.
In 2005, Bait Al Zubair became a cultural foundation devoted to serving the local community and others.Over the years, Bait Al Zubair has grown to become a cultural center, heading innovative cultural projects, events and initiatives.
During the second half of 2025, Casa Árabe will be centering a portion of its programming on “Country Focus: Oman,” which will include a variety of activities for learning about the cultural richness, investment opportunities and reality of this Gulf nation.
