Urban dance show by Youness Khoukhou 

The performance will be taking place as part of Casa Valonia 2021, to be held on November 24 and 25 at the Carlos de Amberes Foundation in Madrid.

This Moroccan dancer residing in Wallonia (Belgium) will be performing on Wednesday, November 24 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Carlos de Amberes Foundation (located at Calle Claudio Coello, 99).

Youness Khoukhou was born in Sa, Morocco in 1984. He started breakdancing at the age of 18 in Marrakesh, where he grew up and trained in contemporary dance with Anania. He came to Belgium in 2008 to study at P.A.R.T.S. and has worked with performers such as Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Claire Croizé and Pierre Droulers (Soleils). At the request of Charleroi Danse, he created his first group piece, “Becoming,” as a choreographer, for DANSEUR 2015. His first solo, “Noon,” co-produced by Charleroi Danse, was created in September of 2017.

Casa Valonia 2021 is a large event that will include two days with wide variety of activities in different fields (cultural, academic, economic, commercial and scientific) with the goal of creating international outreach for the region of Wallonia in Belgium, as well as developing new paths for cooperation with Spain.
