    On Friday, November 14, we will be screening this film by Diana Allan about Palestine’s colonial past as part of the Palestinian Film Festival in Cordoba. The screening will be followed by a film colloquium moderated by Julia Martos and Marisa Benito Crespo.

    The University of Cordoba School of Philosophy and Letters will be hosting a new screening in the Palestinian Film Festival on Sunday, November 9. The film is a moving autobiographical story by Carol Mansour produced in 2023. After the screening, there will be a discussion moderated by CineCercano and Colectivo Azabache.

    On Saturday, November 8, the Cordoba sessions in our Palestinian Film Festival are continuing, with this screening of a film by Mahmoud Atassi. After the screening, there will be a colloquium moderated by Ghaleb Jaber Ibrahim, honorary president of the Araguaney Foundation, and María del Mar Rivas. Come see them.

    As part of the Palestinian Film Festival, on November 7 we will be screening a retrospective of director Jocelyne Saab’s films in Cordoba, featuring three of her most representative films. This will be followed by a colloquium moderated by Julia C. De la Fuente. Come and take part.

    British-Palestinian surgeon Ghassan Abu Sittah spent 43 days under bombardment in Gaza while tirelessly treating the wounded. In this film, Carol Mansour explores the doctor’s experiences on his sixth time in the Gaza conflict. Come watch the film and take part in the colloquium we are holding afterwards. It will be taking place in Cordoba on October 31, as part of the Palestinian Film Festival.
