From February 15, 2012 until March 20, 2012On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of Algeria’s independence, on March 20th Casa Árabe organizes in Madrid a lecture on the narrow connection between this country and the psychiatrist, philosopher and French revolutionary Frantz Fanon, author of Les Damnés de la terre [The Wretched of the Earth], a reference on post-colonial studies and the man who had a great influence in both national liberation and decolonization movements.

From October 25, 2011 until November 21, 2011On Monday 21st November, Casa Árabe will host in Madrid the workshop "Economic Priorities after the Arab Spring: Reform and Economic Policy in Transitional Operations" where a group of experts will analyse different features and areas which in the economy sector must be specially taken care of in those countries’ new political agendas.
