    During the 2026–27 academic year, Casa Árabe is launching the eighth edition of the “Aula Árabe Universitaria” lecture series, organized with the support of Masar al’An / Masar Ahora—the regional program for cooperation with the Arab world run by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID)—and in partnership with IEMed’s “Aula Mediterrània.” See the information below.

    The third lecture in the “Aula Árabe Universitaria 8” series will be presented by Ali Abdullatif Ahmida, professor of political science at the University of New England (U.S.).     From November 4 to 6, Casa Árabe is organizing this international conference in Córdoba, an academic gathering that will bring together national and international specialists to analyze the multiple dimensions of slavery in the Mediterranean and Iberian regions during the Late Middle Ages and the Early Modern Period.
