    Throughout the months of January and March 2025, we are organizing new tatreez workshops in Madrid as part of the “Threads of the Diaspora” project, under the title “Embroidering dreams of a Palestinian garden,” with the support of AECID. You may start reserving your spaces as of Monday, January 13. Don’t miss out.

    Second part of the course “Orientalism in the painting of the nineteenth-century and early twentieth-century”

    From January 15, 2025 until February 04, 2025The course will run from February 4 to May 13, 2025, in a weekly session from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

    Registration is now open for the second part of this artistic training course. It will be taking place over 14 sessions between February and May 2025, including theoretical lectures and visits to places of interest.

    Casa Árabe, with the cooperation of the Al Fanar Foundation, is organizing workshops for primary and secondary school students in which they can discover medieval Madrid through the comic strip “Sira and the Water Journeys” and the urban escape game “Moorish Madrid.” If you are a teacher and want your school to participate, sign up here.

    Portrait of a Certain Orient

    On Wednesday, January 29 in Madrid, Casa Árabe will be screening this feature film based on the novel “Tale of a Certain Orient” by Milton Hatoum, released in 2024 and winner of the Colón de Oro Award at the Huelva Festival.
